To all NWMACA members:
Greetings! My name is Bubba Gray and I am the Secretary of the gun club. Many of you know me through the club and through the gun shows. For those of you who do not, I have been associated with the gun club for several years now. When I first became a member and began to be involved with gun club activities, the Les Bauska Range was very much in a state of disrepair. While this was no one person’s fault, several of us decided it was time to take action and under President Mosby’s leadership some fantastic improvements have been made. I feel that we now have a facility we can be proud of, however those improvements have come with a price tag.
In the past several years we have rebuilt the bullet trap in the pistol range, we have rebuilt the trap in the .22 range, and we have completed numerous other projects to improve our facility. One of our most important projects, and our most expensive, has been the installation of a new one hundred yard rifle tube. It was a very necessary expenditure and one we all feel will benefit members for years to come. While we planned carefully and budgeted accordingly, many design changes and improvements became obvious as the project progressed leaving us about $13,000 over budget.
This is where you can help. When you pay your dues, or even if you have already paid your dues, any donation you can make will be recognized and greatly appreciated. Our responsibility to our future generations is to pass down a legacy that protects our Second Amendment rights, which we all know have been under attack for a very long time. NWMACA and the Les Bauska Underground Gun Range is a shining beacon in the Flathead Valley for that most sacred cause. With your help, we can keep it that way.
Bubba Gray, Secretary
